Update March13/05 Kerrobert travels to Rosetown for the year's
last
tournament to meet Eston in their first game where a hat trick by Riley
Anderson and 4 assists from Adam Schraefel gave Kerrobert the win 6-1
to take them to the A side final against Rosetown. Missing Stephen
Schraefel who suffered a hip pointer in the first game, Kyle Shynkaruk,
out with a broken color bone, Connor Phillips and Chad Riendeau, from
the flu, the bench was pretty thin for the final game. Coach Angus
Phillips called on the kids for one final effort. Hat tricks from
Andrew Morris and Atom, Taylor Murphy and an exeptional effort by all
the kids gave Kerrobert the 9-4 victory
over Rosetown to win the tournament and end a great season on a winning
note. Many thanks to Coaches Garry Anderson and Angus Phillips for
their many hours of dedication in teaching our kids the lessens and
skills of team work in hockey and life.

Pee Wee
Lazers during Unity's first Minor Hockey day by a score of 6 - 4.
Kindersley traveled to the Kerrobert arena on December 30 for a hard
fought battle where Kerrobert found the edge in a 4 -1 win thanks to
Andrew Morris's 3 goal contribution and the daring saves of goalie
Dustin Waldner. The Pee Wees called on the defensive skills of Atom,
Taylor Murphy for help on the blue line and an assist on Morris's third
goal.
The rematch from Kerrobert's first loss of the season against Luseland

was sure to be a long hard day. They played the Rosetown Red Wings in

Thompson, Kyle Shynkaruk and Ryley Anderson. They got by Eston in a 3-1
battle with scoring from Morris, Schraefel and Phillips. Their third
game against Kindersley saw Schraefel open the scoring with 2 goals and

hat trick from Morris, 2 goals from Schraefel and goals from Thomson
and Michael Cholin for a 7-2 win. They finished the game with a short
bench because of injuries to Connor Phillips and Jayden Theissen in the

Nov 25/04
The Kerrobert Pee Wee Tigers started the season with 14 players and
Coach Cyril Reschny at the helm. Before the fist game Coach Reschny
seriously broke his leg playing for the Kerrobert Senior Tigers. The
coaching duties were then assumed by Gary Anderson and Angus Phillips
just before the season opener.
The Pee Wees home opener hosted Biggar on Nov. 6 and found the edge in
a
hard fought
battle 6-5. On Nov. 12 they traveled to Kindersley to win an exciting
game 5 - 3. Kerrobert finished the Biggar series on Nov. 13 when the
hard
hitting Tigers traveled to Biggar to prevail in a 5-3 win. On Nov. 14
Kerrobert finished
off a 3 game in 3 day road trip with a 9-3 victory over the
Eston/Leader Pee
Wees to move atop the Hwy. 14 league at 4 wins and 0 losses. The team
has come together and all the players have been contributing to the
team's
success with passing, hard hitting, good defense and the ability to
fill the net so far.
On Nov. 20 The Tigers hosted the Kerrobert Pee Wee Tournament with
Wilkie, Rosetown and Biggar trying to snatch the big trophy.
Kerrobert
handled the Rosetown Redwings in the opening game 9-2 although the
score didn't reflect the exciting play as Kerrobert goal tender Dustin
Waldner had his stone wall up and frustrated the Rosetown team. Wilkie
defeated
Biggar 13-5 to put them on a collision course with the Tigers for the
final game. Rosetown took out Biggar in the B side final to win the
medal. In the hard skating final game, Wilkie jumped out to a 3-2 lead
over the Tigers heading
into the 3rd period but something happened between periods to inspire
the
Tigers to move ahead when Connor Phillips #9 contributed points in the
next 4 markers to take the crowd pleasing final game 6-4 to finish off
a
very successful tournament. Chad Riendeau accepted the big cup on
behalf
of the Kerrobert Pee Wee Tigers and Hustler awards for Kerrobert went
to
Adam Schraefel #16 and Andrew Morris #17 for their efforts.
Kerrobert will host Unity at 2:00 PM on Saturday Nov. 27 for Minor
Hockey day. We hope to see many fans out for a day of excitement at the
rink
